The City of Largo is Hiring a School Crossing Guard Near Largo, FL
Part-time specialized work to facilitate the movement of children to and from school. Assignments are limited to those hours when school is opening, recessing, or closing. Position reports to an assigned supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) required
- Must have physical ability to perform the functions of the job
- Selected candidates will receive Crossing Guard Training and must pass the training and practical courses to receive a Crossing Guard Certificate within a designated time frame
- Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Some knowledge of traffic regulations
- Ability and willingness to work outside in inclement weather
- Willingness to work with children, parents, and community in a courteous and tactful manner
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
